I wanted to provide some helpful tips to get you using our Email Autoresponder Software at Sendlane. To be efficient and create effective results.
Before you start sending traffic to your site, please plan ahead what you are trying to accomplish.
Complete your email Series using Email Autoresponder Software
Autoresponders are set by a trigger, such as “Subscribe to a List”. With that in mind, once you finished your autoresponder series, and a visitor opt-ins to your list. Then they will receive your autoresponders. Keep in mind not all email autoresponder software operate the same way. So if you are using a service other than Sendlane, this will not be relevant to you.
The keyword is “Subscribe to a List”. If you decided along the way to add new autoresponder to provide your List with new emails, the trigger is not going be set. Your current subscribers are already on the List and will not receive the newly created emails.
So, before you start sending any traffic, determine if you have completed all the necessary emails you want to set using our autoresponder.
Segment Your List
If you decided to send your new autoresponders. You might want to do the following first: Segment your list by the date they opted in and the emails they have received. You’ll want to manage this so that you will not send any duplicate emails. You can learn how to segment your list here.
Changing your Trigger
If you have made a mistake or wanted to add more to your Autoresponder series. You might want to change your Trigger to “Campaign is Opened”, which is located under your autoresponder settings.
Option is Available Here:
You can Select the following Trigger as Follows:
In that way, once you send your list a campaign and they open it, the series will be triggered and they will receive that triggered event.
If you want to create several new autoresponder emails, you want to set that trigger to “Campaign is Opened” and change the days you want to send. If you have 5 new emails you want to send them, the trigger will be based on the day they open their campaign. Example: 1 day after campaign is opened, 2 day after and so forth for each autoresponder.
You Can Filter Out Your Trigger
You can also create an opportunity to sent your new autoresponder to quality emails by setting the trigger to set as “Any Link to Campaign is Clicked” or “Specific Link in the Campaign is Clicked”. In this way, anyone who is not engaging with your emails will be opted out for the new autoresponder emails.
